Diversity. Two Hours PD credit; dinner provided. This training was developed by the National Education Association; There are no pre-requisites-each module is a stand-alone training.
Module 2 Objectives include:
• Explaining the depth and breadth of diversity
• Identifying core values
• Identifying the relationship between core values and behavior
• Demonstrating the impact of values, beliefs, feelings, and self-concept on behavior
• Exploring how assumptions, prejudices, and biases are formed
Tuesday, January 12, 4:30-7 p.m. Training will be held at the JCTA office, 1941 Bishop Lane, Suite 300. |
