Module 1 of the NEA's Diversity Training Curriculum focuses on "Understanding Diversity". 

Participants will:  Define diversity; Understand the dimensions of diversity; Experience how group membership affects self-perception and perception of others; Reflect on how diversity affects our students, co-workers, and communities.

Training is presented by JCTA Diversity Trainers. Dinner is available at 4:30 pm; Training begins promptly at 5:00 pm.  2 hours of JCTA Professional Development offered.
