2015 Girls STEM Day
The University of Kentucky’s College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and Office for Environmental Programs Outreach Services, is hosting the 2015 Girls Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Day on Wednesday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (ET). The event is free and open to rising 6th through 9th grade girls interested in discovering opportunities in the STEM fields.
Participants will be taken on tours of labs across campus, designed to showcase the female faculty, staff and students working in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. A pizza lunch will be provided.
