Andrew Bailey is a lifelong educator who spent 13 years in the classroom as a social studies and robotics teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools.  He served as the elected Treasurer of the Jefferson County Teachers Association for 12 years before accepting his current role as a UniServ Director.  He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and married the love of his life (Melissa) in 2016.  His son Brady was born in October of 2017 and baby Annabelle joined the family in September of 2019.  Andrew recently completed his coursework for his Ed. D. from the University of Louisville in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development.  When he is not spending time with his family, he is advocating for children, the working class, and organized labor. Andrew is the staff liasion for the Spotlight Committee, the Special Education Caucus, and District Assigned Teachers Caucus.
