JCTA bargained its first contract in 1968, and today we are one of only a handful of local teachers’ unions in Kentucky that has a collective bargaining agreement. 

Our contract is a precious commodity that outlines the rights of our members and sets up a grievance process with which we can hold district personnel accountable.
