Changes to Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) Calculator

The COLA Suspension Calculator calculates your total losses over the course of your expected lifetime as a result of having the cost-of-living adjustment suspended for five years at the beginning of your retirement.  The following calculator is written in Microsoft Excel and is required for use:

Thinkfinity.org is a website that brings teachers great online educational resources for FREE. The website offers a large breadth and depth of reliable, top-quality content and proven lesson plans created by Verizon’s Consortium Partners (which include the NEA). One of the best things about these resources is that you can pick the state content standards you want your resources or lesson plans to match!

This is PBS’s website that contains great resources, lesson plans, videos, workshops and more for teachers and students.

PBS also offers online professional development for teachers.

Teaching Tolerance is the Southern Poverty Law Center’s educational program. They offer a free magazine to all teachers called Teaching Tolerance, and they provide lesson plans, videos, books and more to increase cultural competency in the classroom.
